WHO LIVES IN YOUR BACKYARD? |
What's New |
|
|
Wondering what to do in the cold winter months ahead? We have a fun thing for you, individually or as a family! Tell us who lives in your backyard, or just passes thru. Each family who participates and turns in a completed survey will be eligible for some great prizes. The more of you who participate, the better our information will be!
If you missed the December 5 Town Hall, we have the 2 part survey here on our website for you to print off and use. Bring your completed surveys to our January (Tue, 1/19), February (Tue, 2/16) or March (Mon, 3/15) Community/Board meetings, or mail to Ann Culter, 144 SW Tualatin Loop, West Linn 97068 by March 20.
Please download the survey (click here for birds and click here for mammals and others) and the directions (click here).
Help us map our furred and feathered friends in the Hamlet!

Rural & Urban Reserve Update |
|
As you read in our last newsletter, the fate of Stafford area is still not decided by the Core 4, who will be making the decision in early February. Are we Urban Reserve (meaning we will be candidate for UGB inclusion when Metro decides to bring in more land), OR are we Rural Reserve (which the surrounding cities have recommended) OR are we Undesignated?
Ways for you to voice your opinion: in writing or by speaking at the Metro open house (4:30-6:30P) and public hearing (at 6PM) Thursday, Jan 21 at the Wilsonville City Hall, 29799 SW Town Center Loop E, Wilsonville. Email either Clackamas Board of County Commissioners: bcc@co.clackamas.or.us OR Metro: reserves@oregonmetro.gov. Write to Charlotte Lehan, Clackamas Board of County Commissioners (Clackamas rep at Core 4), 2051 Kaen Rd, Oregon City, Or 97045.
